Urgent Requests

Classical Civilisation for GCSE
OCR are revising their Classical Civilisation course for GCSE for the 2009 exam. We already have a version published three years ago and now need an author to revise our existing publication. Are you interested in this work? If so please get in touch.

Resources for Bilingual Pupils
Quite often the content of the National Curriculum can be intractable for pupils who speak English as a second language. We have had many requests for abridged versions of certain books and would therefore like new authors to send in their own reduced versions of other titles or phone us to discuss a commission for a titles they would like to see. These books have proven to be very popular because of their accessibility and at the end of each section there can be a series of stimulating exercises which are designed to enhance language acquisition. As teachers we know that understanding the text not only activates interest but, ultimately, that all pupils can obtain encouraging grades in English Exams.

We currently have on offer :

Animal Farm
Kes
Flour Babies
Lord of the Flies
An Inspector Calls
Rolls of Thunder Hear my Cry
Of Mice and Men
Macbeth
Great Expectations
A Doll's House
