Pack B1 - The Romans

The main events and monuments of Roman Britain are covered within the framework of the Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire. The Emperor Constantine, the founding of Constantinople and the coming of Christianity are included although they don't directly affect Britain. The series ends with the Anglo-Saxon invasions in order to place the Romans in the context of the mainstream of British history.
