This resource is a variety of worksheets to help my students learning about Stansilavski, to come to terms with his life, the political times, the society and culture, influences on and by him and his theories. There is not a great deal out there to support students who are not able to focus their own research or wade through vast amounts of materials. Therefore, this booklet has been developed this booklet to instruct and guide students. It has an overall guide at the beginning of the unit of work would enable the pupils to have a clear outcome: to be focused on the overall goal and to use it to aid in independent research and peer learning.

Teachers of Drama come from a variety of backgrounds, whether the influence has been by the Drama school they attended, professional theatre work, another field merging into Drama or just an interest in teaching it. This guide is flexible enough for teachers to add their own ‘flair’ to ensure that it does not become dull and monotonous. I would advise you, as the teacher to use some, a moderate amount of or the complete guide, depending on what your pupils need.

The pupils that I taught have used this guide in very productive ways enabling their learning to be clearly structured and to understand what is expected in examinations.

The pack contains materials to help focus the pupils at each stage and to alert them as to whether they have completed the aims and objectives for the Unit. You can produce as individual handouts to the pupils or enlarge them for display.

Once purchased, the CD can be freely copied and networked throughout the school.
