Green Days By The River by Michael Anthony is set in Trinidad. It tells the story of a teenage boy who is maturing into an adult. The boy has to deal with issues which confuse him, and has to make difficult life-choices. These materials are suitable for students aged 14-16. They can be used with special needs and English as an Additional Language students and promote the development of reading, writing and comprehension skills. Each chapter is differentiated so that it can be understood by pupils who may find the original version difficult. Understanding of the text is further supported through questions.
