All departments have a responsibility to provide a curriculum which is suited to the needs of their pupils. Our aim is always to help a pupil attain his or her full potential. Individual needs have to be met in order for pupils to make progress and to feel valued.

It is important to consider gifted pupils as a group who require special attention in order to maximise there potential.

The activities within this book allow pupils to be stretched and to work either on their own or in-groups. Many activities can be set alongside normal classroom work or can be set as extension activities. Some of the activities require access to both the library and the Internet.

It is hoped that by undertaking some of this work that pupils will develop an enquiring approach to their work in RE.
