This board game has been developed to help students following the Edexcel GCSE PE course but the content would also be appropriate for other examination boards. It provides students with an opportunity to revise course material in a fun, different and challenging way and caters for all abilities.

This resource has been created to attack revision from another angle and to switch students onto learning course content. The non-threatening nature of the game allows participation from all students whilst including an element of healthy competition. With 370 question on anatomy and physiology, safety, factors affecting performance and training, it covers all elements examined in the course. A championship section has been included to test stronger students, which gives the resource a challenging edge.

The game board and question cards have been designed so that they can easily photocopied onto card and numerous sets can be made for the classroom. Most question cards are written, however, there are several illustrated questions, which benefit the visual learner. The cards also vary between set answers and multi choice, which gives an element of diversity to the game. It also provides an interesting alternative to work sheets for cover teachers as students can become swamped and bored with these. Most importantly, the material aids students in the learning of course content whilst being a time saver for teachers.
