Busy modern foreign language teachers do not often have time to devote to poster production. These six sets of German posters for modern foreign language classrooms are designed to contribute to the literacy impact of the environment and add visual stimulus to learning essential vocabulary. The posters can also be used as flash cards and support developing language skills for ages 8 to 16. The complete pack consists of sixty black and white high quality A4 photocopy masters with two words on each. The sets are the names of letters including variations, numbers from one to twenty, days of the week, months of the year, colours and ordinal numbers up to thirty-one. They can be used to display dates as well as for teaching the individual words. Each set can be copied on to a different coloured paper and laminated or mounted on card. The posters with the names of colours are designed for copying on to white cards or paper for hand colouring by pupils to show the colours and to increase their sense of ownership. The specially designed Sassoon font is used throughout to support and link to handwriting development for younger pupils and to maintain clarity.
