Supasave – It’s another cold, boring day working in the fields and Donna has had enough. The prospect of working in the warm with new people persuades her to get a job at the local supermarket. Toners – A funny, provocative play for six females, Toners is simply staged in a fitness suite. Characters exercise for different reasons but all feel free to discuss subjects away from the influences of men…except the off stage fitness instructor Dan. No subject is too embarrassing and includes childhood, menstruation, sexual experiences, marriage, childbirth, and old age. As the women move round each apparatus, the imaginary mirror and the scales at the front form a focal point for their individual frustrations or pleasures. A series of monologues punctuate the performance and there are flashback scenes to childhood. Choral work, fast paced conversation and individual characterisation create an ensemble piece that is suitable for AQA and Edexcel GCSE Drama and AS Theatre Studies scripted practical performance. What a Wonderful World – The Bergman Gang of penguins are stranded on a retreating ice cap; why is it happening and what will Sensible Bruce suggest to escape? Local environmentalists are on a sponsored bike ride to raise money for a new wind powered organ in church but not everyone is a happy Christian; a car is taken to the garage to be fitted with a catalytic converter much to the anguish of the souped-up engine’s parts. Enter the surreal world that man’s pollution has caused. What a Wonderful World is hilarious and thought provoking drama for pupils aged 14+ who want to save the planet.

Would you Adam and Eve It – There has always been a battle between the sexes from The Garden of Eden onwards and Would You Adam and Eve It looks at the balance of power in a series of funny and thought provoking scenes. Matt decides to talk to a girl on the train. Fran faces the result of a pregnancy test. Alice and Tom meet to break off an affair. Eve takes a bite from the forbidden fruit and all hell is let loose. Funny and provocative by turns, Would you Adam and Eve It is a simple staged ensemble episodic piece incorporating multi role play, monologues, mime and choral work with the case on stage at all times. Suitable for AQA and Edexcel GCSE and AS Theatre Studies scripted practical performance. There is some robust expression reflecting the nature of the content.
